The Blue's

I came across this royal blue skinny's at Charlotte Russe and loved how vibrant they are. I can match up up with a lot of pieces, especially for the Fall. I decided to wear this statement necklace and really bring out the color blue's. Can you tell I am obsessed with leopard print? I can't help it. I just love!

Just Thoughts

It's 11:04 pm in San Diego, and I can't sleep. I have so many things running through my mind on what it is I want to accomplish with this blog. I came across a post on Independent Fashion Blog (IFB) written by Jennine Jacob on "How to Discover Your Blogging Talents."  I have to say, it's like she was reading my mind. Many of the questions I had, she answered. I have to find my voice. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that she loved writing, but failed high school English twice (I had to take English 101 twice in College). I could relate somewhat to her. I have to admit, writing is my biggest fear. How do I transfer my thoughts into proper writing? I sometimes ask myself, did I write that correctly? Does this even make sense? I know I am not the best writer but just like Jennine said, practice, practice, and practice some more. Even famous authors have struggled with writing but have prevailed. I remember when I met Nicholas Sparks at his "Safe Haven" book signing in La Jolla, CA last year, he mentioned that he was not good at writing but continued to practice and look at him now.

So, where I am getting at with this post is that, although I am not a perfect writer, I love to share my thoughts and personal style with you. Everyday is a learning experience and I know in time, I will be better. Thank you for taking time of your day to read what my crazy brain thinks. Ha! Have a good one! :)

Hunter Green

Glad my Friday has finally arrived. I have so much to do this weekend in preparation for my trip to New York in two weeks. I will be attending the Independent Fashion Blogger Conference and I can't begin to express how excited I am. I am nervous, anxious, and eager to learn. I know it's going to be an amazing experience and hopefully I can meet some of my favorite fashion bloggers who I admire. I will admit that I am not perfect at this, but I do try my best and I know I have so much more to grow.  Ok, now back to the outfit I wore today.

I was going over my closet this morning and came across this dress that I had purchased like a year ago from Papaya. I didn't wear as much because I had no clue what to wear it with. I decided to combine the look with a leopard print belt and these ankle boots. Just love how the whole look flows together. These boots make me miss Tennessee and the country. Good times in good old Clarksville! :)

A Cameo

So, what do you think of this view? I am one lucky girl. This is the view I get to enjoy everyday at work. I purchased these leopard print flats a few weeks ago and love how comfortable they feel. I love how I can pair them up with a dressy or casual outfit and still feel comfortable. I had to post a picture of my photographer of the day, Danah. I love what she wore today and just had to share.

The Color Purple

Purse: Ruche, Dress: ModCloth, Purse: Ruche, Necklace: Ruche

I know it's not Fall yet, but I couldn't help wonder around and see what pieces are out there that I just have to get my hands on. One of the colors that's been catching my attention the most is the color purple. I found these cute purple pumps from Ruche and created a look just with these shoes. This look is perfect for summer but can easily transition to a Fall look.

A Touch of Coral

Top: Cotton On, Jeans: Rainbow, Flats: H&M, Purse: Target, Accessories: H&M

Loose tops are so comfy to wear, especially tops that you can pair up with pretty much any color you'd like. Today was all about comfort and casual.  Coral has been one of my favorite colors for the summer and what perfect way to incorporate this color, than with a black and white printed top. Hey, you might not like wearing bold colors but you could still spice up the look by wearing accessories that have a hint of color. A little color added to the look doesn't hurt ;)

Have a good weekend!!

Peter Pan Collar

Top: F21, Pants: Cotton On, Wallet: a gift, Shoes: Payless

Oh yes, I wore the peter pan collar. I was a little iffy about wearing it in the beginning but it's not as bad as I had imagined. I love the little scottish terrier's on the top with their little red bow's (so cute!), which go perfectly with the red skinny jeans. I've had these shoes for a couple of years and decided to wear them with this look. The shoes give the outfit a vintage feel.

Have a good day everyone!

Maxi Dress & Shopping

Maxi Dress: Revolution

Sandals: Target

Today's outfit of the day was a maxi dress I had bought a couple weeks ago at the mall, which is super comfy! I went to the mall for one purpose only, and I ended up leaving with all these goodies. What can I say? I couldn't resist lol. The items are from Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Have I mentioned lately that I'm a pinterest fanatic? Well, now you know ;) I am obsessed with that website! That's where I find most of my fashion inspiration and of course, fashion magazines as well. One of my favorite trends is prints. I found the above picture in pinterest and loved how she paired off the leopard gray pants, with a white tank, and hot pink shoes. Below is an instagram pic of my look wearing the leopard print skinny's.
