Shabby Chic Nursery

As I type up this post, I can't believe this baby nursery will soon be my daughters room. Of course I couldn't stray away from a shabby chic theme! For years I've  admired nursery pics via Pinterest and had hopes that I would soon be able to share this same joy with others. Well, here it is! This room was such a fun project for me and my husband. For those who know me, I'm not a guru when it comes to DIY, however, my baby girl inspired me to want to personalize and create some of the pieces to add sentimental value. It all started with the flower mobile - which became my inspiration for the whole room. I happened to see this photo in Pinterest and knew I just had to have it! My sister-in-law is way better than me when it came to these types of projects so I let her take it over and couldn't be more happier with the result. Now that it's all put together, we are patiently waiting for our little bundle of joy. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every moment of this journey. We love you Emily Isabelle Vega.
