Gone With The Wind

I'm a big believer in re-styling items you currently own in your closet. Believe it or not, this top is an off the shoulder dress I wore previously on the blog, but this time around I styled it as a top. How fun when you can style a piece more than one way, right?! I'm all about budgeting and reworking pieces. I found this chambray skirt at Ross on clearance for $12! Ching-ching! and look it here...I have myself a cute summer breezy look for super cheap! This outfit is perfect for a brunch date with girlfriends after a hectic work week. Speaking of brunch date, I need one ASAP! Being a full-time working momma is no joke!

Swing Dress

I've always been a fan of stripes. I have plenty of tops with stripes but not enough in dresses. This lovely little number from Old Navy was the perfect buy (Pss...less than $30!). It's the cutest swing dress and works any way styled whether it be dressed up or down. Since I tend to style my looks more of the casual side, I added a military vest that went perfect with these nude wedges! I love how these shoes can make this look so girly even with the green vest! I'm already envisioning another look with this dress - sexy heels and beautiful statement earrings...stay tuned!

Working Mommy

After a month and a half off of bonding time, I will become a working mommy! You guys, the struggle is real. Although I'm looking forward to returning to work, the thought of having her at daycare kills me. I'm her mommy! But, such is life...Gotta pay the bills if you know what I mean. With that being said, I'm taking advantage and spending as much quality time. My wardrobe consist of easy looks that'll help keep me fashionably comfortable while I do my errands. Again, comfort is key but I like to girly it up! I've been non-stop bragging on Twitter about these sandals. I love that they're not your typical flats.  Pairing it with my favorite distressed denim shorts and this floral top clenched exactly how I felt that day.

My Everyday Makeup

I'm no makeup guru by any means but I thought I'd share my everyday makeup essentials with y'all! I am a fan of the cat eye and nude everything! One thing you will know about me, I can rock a messy bun but my makeup needs to be on point! I like to keep things simple but glamorous if you know what I mean. Although some of these items are a little on the pricey side, they have worked well for me. I've never had to touch up my makeup and could pretty much rock the look all day (this a plus for a busy mom such as myself!) If I had to choose my everyday must-haves, I would have to say my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - CustardKat Von D Tattoo Liner "Trooper", and my Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color - Clay Crush. I need to cover my dark circles for those sleepless nights with Emily, I just GOTTA have the cat eye, and my lips need a little color. And there you have it my friends! DaintyJea's everyday makeup. What are some of your must-have makeup products?

Okay, so how many of you have no clue what to wear for the 4th of July? Or for some reason have no energy/time to think of an outfit? No worries, I'm here to assist! I happened to visit Nordstrom twice this week to search for Emily's 4th of July outfit but found so many options for myself instead!  Where the heck have I been? This store is everything! While, I currently have a top and bottom for the festivities, I'm still trying to decide what accessories and shoes to wear. Great. So if you are in the same boat, I thought I'd share some items that will work perfectly for the holiday. With that being said, I hope you have a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend!
