3 Tips for Postpartum Wear

When I became pregnant, I followed a couple pregnant bloggers and noticed most of them were all belly (nothing wrong with that, but how do they do it?!). Yea, little ol' me gained 32 pounds when I was pregnant and I swear, I think most of it went to my chest. While I try not to put so much pressure on myself,  I can't help but think how on earth should I dress and still feel confident? To the first time mommy's who've recently had a are not alone. I know it can be a bit overwhelming on what to wear without looking like a hot mess! First and foremost, stop being so hard on yourself. This is real life! We are not all going to be slim right away (well some of us). So in the mean time, we have to work with what we have. The key is to be confident in who you are. With that being said, I wanted to share three pointers on how to dress that postpartum bod.

1. V-Neck tops. For the momma's with big chests, this one is for you. I went from a B to DD. Exactly! I promise, V-necks are your best friend. They give the illusion of smaller breast which is always a plus!

2. Skinny jeans. Wearing a flowy top while keeping the bottom fitted will balance your look without having to try so hard.

3. Wear black. A classic rule that shouldn't surprise anyone. Wearing black makes me look slimmer…so of course this is the way to go!
